Hermès Balance as astonishment
The project translates ballet dancers silhouettes, in its perfect balance, into playful geometric shapes of sculptures. Hermes items will be integrated into these human-like sculptures in a playful manner, which also draw the attention from viewers to question «How are these objects remaining balance?». This is astonishing. The choice of materials is raw cardboard, both for the sculptures and the background. This adds another aspect of the balance between human and nature, the body and its enviroment, in which relationship we need to define and orient ourselves.
I used fusion360 to slide the objects and digital cut parts, build multiple objects, adding copper bars to support the balance and gives material contrast. The windows floor & background re-use the leftover cut-out from digital-cut, as a metaphor of poetry in sustainability.
