AP The New Lacquer

Introducing a feminine yet bold material that combines the timeless elegance of traditional lacquer with modern fabrics. I have been experimenting with a new technique that seamlessly merges lacquer onto fabrics, creating a striking and unique finish. The vision is to create a watch that is feminine without being overly girly, appealing to women who appreciate sophistication and individuality. The watch is a celebration of the beauty and versatility of traditional lacquer art, bring a fresh perspective to this timeless craft.

The concept is inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s Black Iris, 1926 – as a bold statement of Audemars Piguet’ s woman who is daring and uncompromising.
