Dedon The Marina Spirit

 

In ‘The Marina Spirit’, the object brings the about fresh breeze of the ocean, the infinite living. The serving tray was inspired by the classic shape of a seashell. Our weaving technique of choice is influenced by the simplicity of the Vortex bamboo basket by Yamaguchi Ryuun. The simplified weaving offers a breath of harmony as if the object is living, breathing, and conversational.

The set includes a champagne bucket inspired by coral shapes. It follows a similar simplistic weaving choice. This organic coral shape accentuates the deep sea as using double-sided color fibers.
